About us

We started caravanning in 2015 when our eldest daughter was 7 and the youngest daughter was 1, so we consider ourselves seasoned caravanners.

We started small and modest with a 1994 coachman, moved on to a 2004 Bailey Senator Carolina (The Lemon Van) & in 2021 we upgraded to a 2013 Swift Challenger. As we accidentally purchased a lemon caravan, we acquired some good knowledge on what to look for when buying a new-to-you caravan.

We have since adopted two dogs, one small and one medium sized.

I set up Instagram in 2020 and decided to make this blog in 2022 to talk about all things caravanning & camping. I took a break in late 2024 when life got busy, but have re-launched in 2026 with a new website and renewed passion for sharing our leisure lifestyle.

Progressing to a website from social media means that there is an outlay in both tech and time.  I am hoping to build a free resource to help other families like us love camping and caravanning.  In an effort to balance the financial outlay, I use affiliate links and am open to collaboration.  Read more about that here.
